Overview

HousingMatch.org is Massachusetts’ first nonprofit, membership-based, shared housing network. We provide listing services for our members free of charge. The only costs are the background check reports which members who seek roommates get when they join online.  Members can post ads for Housing Wanted (seeking roommates), Rooms for Rent (renting a room in your home), and Housing Offered (rental listings).  Landlords and property owners posting ads for properties where they do not live are not required to get background check reports to join HousingMatch.org.

For Landlords

Signup with HousingMatch.org to list a rental property you own or manage free of charge. If you are renting a room in your home, sign up on “For Roommates” and get a background check.

  1. Download the HousingMatch Landlord Application here.
  2. Email it to admin@housingmatch.org.
  3. Create your account when you receive the activation code in your email.
